Google Dashboard – Get Rid of Email Hacking

Email hacking is illegal access to an email account or email correspondence. Email hacking is a worst problem in the Modern Technology. Anytime your Email can be hacked by someone. There are a many more ways in which a hacker can illegally gain access to an email account and majority of them depend on user behavior.

But if you’re really interested and ready to take the proper precautions, you can significantly minimize the chances to escape from this hacking. Otherwise someone will be able to get into your account. Again as usual, Google wants to help here too. Google has recently released a tool called Google Dashboard that lets you easily check when and where your account has been accessed. Through this tool you ensure nothing is happening.

Google Dashboard lists what devices are connected to your Google Account. It will provide the schedule and location they’ve been accessed your account. Google Dashboard has the past 28 day’s data. If a new device recently started accessing your account, the “NEW” is stationed in all caps next to the product listing. The device you are currently using with your Google account is listed at the top.

In Gmail, you can check recent account activity. At the bottom right of your inbox or any open email, beneath “Last account activity” you can click “Details” to see when and where your account has been accessed. There, you can also sign out other active sessions besides the one you’re currently using.

If you notice something doubtful, i.e.., a new Mac accessing your account but you only own PCs. In this case you can click “Secure your account” to change your password, update your recovery information. Check App passwords and account permissions, or check your two-step verification settings. (If you do not have two-step verification set up then now is a very good time to do so.)
